Retirement is difficult to comprehend and for many of us it spurs anxiety and despair. In fact, research shows that 40 percent of people aged 25-65 feel stressed, anxious and worried about their retirement. Difficulties of getting an overall picture of it, insecurity about economy, as well as being unaware about possible choices regarding retirement are the main reasons.
So, on behalf of Min Pension and Svensk Försäkring, psychologists Niklas Laninge & Jonas Hjalmar Blom at Psykologifabriken in Stockholm, Sweden, wrote a report to make it easier to understand retirement issues and how we can placate our retirement anxiety.
By the report they concluded that there are especially three aspects that help us to keep track of our retirement situation: time, simplicity and relevance. Based on these findings Rodolfo created “Framtidskollen”, a web-based service that through three steps simplifies retirement information.
